Keep the container tightly closed in a cool, dry cupboard, away from direct light, heat, moisture and strong smells. Avoid a shelf directly above the hob or beside a kettle.
Keep moisture out
Take out only what you need using dry utensils. Do not hold an open container over a steaming pan. Close it promptly and keep the remaining threads dry.
Read the batch label
Our best-before period is 24 months, linked to the actual product batch rather than the day you order. Follow the dates printed on your pack; transferring saffron to another container does not restart that period.
